Monthly Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you for everything I have been able to get through this month. I pray for my brothers/sisters reading this right now. I pray you mend their hearts. Show them the way in which they should go. I ask that you forgive them for everything they have done in action and thought. Thank you for keeping us safe and warm in this season. Lead us. Guide us. Show us the way. If our dreams and visions don’t line up with yours, convict our spirits and lead us to what you want us to do. Help us to seek your face before we do anything. I thank you for the month of March and I ask that you prepare us this week to receive it with great expectancy. Help us to move mountains in the month of March. Help our faith to increase. This would is full of the unknown but your word is forever. I thank you for your peace and love. Help all who are going through heartaches from breakups and losses of loved ones. Help them to understand that you will always be with them and they are not alone. I offer myself as a vessel for anyone reading this that needs a prayer. I ask you open my heart to receive all those who need someone to confide in. Thank you for my job, family, income, and most importantly peace. Thank You for visions you have given me recently and I ask you increase me in spirit. I lastly pray for everyone this Lent season. Help us hear your voice and listen for direction. Turn us from sin and towards where you want us to be. Thank You Jesus for dying for me and I cannot wait to celebrate you this Easter Season! If anyone does not know you help them pray the prayer of salvation and be saved NOW! Amen.

I pray you had a good February and I hope March is EVRYTHING for you! Send any questions comments concerns and prayer request to kyliestores@yahoo.com. Also email for a copy of my book God Set Me Up. Thank you for the support and I pray you have a blessed week.

Love,

Kylie

A week of silence!

I recently had moved out of my mother’s house. After 23 years of being up under her, I am finally on my own! At first I was super excited, and then when I realized I was all alone I got a little sad. Because I was just moving, I did not have my cable set up yet. They told me the earliest they could set it up was a week from when I called. I was so upset. What was I going to do by myself in a quiet house, for an entire week?!

I sat in my quiet apartment and proceeded to get my stuff together. I put all my furniture together and fixed my rooms up how I wanted. It was still too quiet for me though. I thought I was losing my mind. Then it dawned on me.. God wants me all to himself. A week of silence is a week of hearing Gods voice. Even though I had Netflix and Hulu, I sat each day I was home in peace and quiet. It was super relaxing and I felt as if it set the tone for what is next for my life as a little grown lady by myself.

God really spoke to me about what he wanted out of me these next few years by myself and he taught me that I am NEVER alone. He told me who was allowed and not allowed in my apartment, and the responsibilities I will hold while here. I even began a new book about a journey I cannot wait to share with you all.

All in all this week has opened up my eyes that silence in necessary. God wants our attention and we can’t even stop for a day let alone to week to sit at his feet. I encourage you to take a few days to silence out the world. TRY no TV, IG, FB, music, or anything! Most of what God is trying to tell us or where he is taking us requires us to be still! Try a little because I assure you, you will gain a lot!

Have a blessed week! Thank You for helping my book reach new heights. Don’t forget to get your copy at godsetmeup.com or call me. You can also send an email to kyliestores@yahoo.com for questions, comments, and prayer concerns. Thank you for your support and I love you like CRAZY!

Love,
Kylie

You could be a champion..Go with what you know!

I was not going to write anything tonight because I knew everyone like me would be watching the Super Bowl and we needed rest. Well it’s funny because that very thing has prompted me to write for you all. I'm sure you all have seen it by now..The Patriots have won the game. With no time left on the clock they sealed the deal. They did not have the ball though, it was in the hands of our brotha Rus. Now what are the Seahawks known for..Running the ball. In the most pivotal moment in the most important game of the year what did they do.. Throw the ball. You mean to tell me, all they had to do was force a few runs and they would be champions right now? As I talked to a few friends and got in the shower to think about it, it hit me..The Seahawks just like us tried to step out on their own and do something out of the ordinary (sin, lust, people) instead of GOING WITH WHAT THEY KNEW TO BE A SURE THING (obedience, Gods word, God).

Now some may say Kylie change is good, you have to step out your comfort zone. I would respond by saying yes you do, but when there are important things riding on it, if God never told you never to make that move..Why chance it? So many of us find ourselves broke, sad, and empty because we are doing things God NEVER told us to do. We are hanging with the wrong people, taking on debt in the name of “keeping up”, and chasing dreams that were not God given. I know for myself, I could have gone to school to get my Masters in nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner. When I decided to go for Nursing Education, everyone said “why would you do that, nurse educators don’t make half as much as practitioners”. My response to this day is, because God NEVER told me to go to school to be a NP. If I had gone ahead and done so, I would be miserable and upset with my decision. I'm so happy I chose Nurse Education and I can’t wait until the outcome just to prove that as long as I go with what I know and what God says, I will be a winner.

I'm sad for the Seahawks but I'm happy for us believers because God gives us his word in EVRYTHING! The next time you want to swerve and throw a pass at a dream you think is from God, take another play or two to run or even walk before the final cut..You don’t want to end up on in a bad situation, or worse..The losers bench when you KNOW God created you to be a winner!

Happy Sunday and God bless!
