You better Recognize!!

So many things about my walk with God are things that I am still learning. One thing is me understanding who I am as a child of God. Recently I realized I have put up with things and acted below the standard God has set for me because I did not recognize who I was. You see, when you have a family with high standards that carry themselves a certain way, you move different. The same is true about being born again into Gods family. You are a new creation, and many times we don't act like it.

I think many Christians "back slide" and many people don't come to Christ at all because they don't realize they are part of a royal family. They never knew who they were and what that meant in the 1st place, so its easier to simply be the same. You don't have to do what you used to because its comfortable. You don't have to stay around people who dim your light because you don't understand who you are as a child of God. My prayer for you is the prayer I make for myself; the power to wake up and recognize who I am in Jesus Christ. That's the real Royal Family. A dynasty that is eternal!

I love you all and I pray you have a blessed week. Send all questions, comments, or concerns, and prayers to kyliestores@yahoo.com

You past has popped up...

I have a confession. I love chips. Well there was a time when I could (and did, and still do) live without chips. That is until my favorite all time chips appeared on the market again: RAP SNACKS! If you are 30 or younger Rap Snacks had to be apart of you childhood corner store experience. Specifically the Honey BBQ Lil Romeo Rap Snacks. I have also discovered the Ranch/Sour Cream Mingo (yes the Rap group) flavor. Wow! So good (if your city still does not have Rap Snacks, I'm praying for you). Anyway, while I was looking in the mirror I noted a small pimple. I thought "wow, where did this come from? My diet has been great!" Then I remembered my good ole bag (or two) of Rap Snacks I have every other Friday. You see although the damage was done two weeks ago, it just began to show.

My experience is one that many of us face today. We think we have "gotten away" with things, and they are actually going to pop up at unexpected times. We deal with consequences today, from generations before us. We think the things we have said or done cause no harm, but when it manifest itself later we feel blind sighted. I'm here to tell you this can all change. You CAN live a honest life guilt free. I'm not saying "bad things" wont happen to you, but you conscious will be clear. Those behaviors you think are tucked away may be about to come to the surface. Confess your mess today and ask God to work it out. Your secretes are safe with him and he can begin changing the darkest things about you no matter how bad. Deal with your past hurts, regrets, and issues BEFORE they manifest in the open. God is there to help!

I love you all and I pray you have a blessed week! Email me for all prayer request or concerns.

Complete Dependence!

Complete Dependence. First, I want to say hello! I haven’t blogged in forever! I am glad to be back. Happy May! Anyway. Complete Dependence! That is what I felt pressed in my spirit today. The past few months (six to be exact), have come with challenges I have never before faced, and I have faced many challenges. I have had endless good moments, but there have been more times than not that I’ve felt completely spent! Some things I believe were a result of my own doing, but roughly 85% (or 95%), were things related to random mess that is totally out of my control. Complete Dependence.
I have prayed, fasted, and asked God “where do I go from here”, and that is the response I feel has came across the strongest. You see, we give God the “big things” like helping us pass tests or heavier loads like dealing with a family member with a terminal diagnosis. But, what about the things like simply having energy to deal with the day, or how to manage an upset stomach? We think those things are “small enough” to handle, and we don’t place it before God, but if it’s one thing I have learned in this stormy season, it is Complete Dependence! In every area of my life! I cannot trust God with certain things and not others. No! I need God in every area, at all time, in all ways. I cannot do this thing called life on my own. And neither can YOU. Learn from me and tell God how much you need him NOW. Your sanity depends on it! Put your pride aside and cry out. Your problems may seem big, but God is bigger!

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you

I love you all and my only wish is that you depend on God with every aspect of your life. Place your needs at his feet! Keep me in your prayers, as I am praying for you all!

Broken Glass Everywhere...

12/17/2017

Yesterday I was doing my hair, and all of a sudden I heard a loud crash. Someone was moving out of my building, and as they were trying to get on the elevator, all of their dishes fell off the cart and broke. I ran out to see if they needed up, but a lady had already began to help him pick up the pieces. You guys, there was glass EVERYWHERE. All I could think was wow, tomorrow there are going to be mini pieces all on the ground and I hope I don't get cut.

I left for church today, and to my surprise, there was no trace of what happened last night. I seen no tiny pieces of glass, and the floor was smooth like it usually is. It made me think of my life an all of the messes I have made. You see, we are all broken glass. Our life breaks and shatters around us at all times. It looks as if it will not get any better. Then God comes to the rescue. He begins to pick up the pieces of our lives even after we tried ourselves to mend them together. After hes finished, it looks as if nothing happened. He restores our lives to an even better state that we were before things began falling apart.

I don't know about you, but that is good news for me! I have been a broken mess, yet God was there to restore, and I moved forward as if nothing happened. This week I pray you let God clean up your broken glass. You have been doing it yourself for long enough. Let him do what he wants to which is help. He..will..restore.

I love you all and I pray you have a blessed week. Any questions comments or concerns send an email to kyliestores@yahoo.com. Order you copies of any of my books via this site today as well as any devotions. Pray for me as I am praying for you. And lastly, safe travels over this holiday weekend!

Fake News vs. Breaking News

10/8/2017

Fake News:
Reporting live from the place you have been your entire life. Look at you. You seem to be working so hard for love. You seem to be acquiring so much wealth these days, yet have an empty feeling. You look happy, but long for something inside. If only that pastor would stop asking for so much money. If only there were more proof Jesus was real, then you would consider believing. You’re on your own living a pretty good life. All you have to do is feed the poor and do good to those around you, and your ticket to heaven in punched. After all, you have been working so hard to complete the “good people” checklist. All is well; maybe.

Breaking News:

You are lost and broken. You want to know about this Jesus guy, but you just can’t wrap your mind around it. You go to church one more time and BAM! It hits you. God’s grace is there to receive you. You didn’t have to do anything because he loves you. He just wanted you to believe. Your past mistakes he will take care of and your daily sins he will work through, but you have arrived. God never cared about all of that. He doesn’t even care about your money; he wanted YOU. He chased you down. Wait, nobody told you it was about relationship not religion? Nobody told you God sent his son to die so your covered? You really thought feeding the homeless was all you had to do? Well I have breaking news for you. It’s even more simple than that. You simply need to believe!

I pray you walk away from everything you thought you knew about church, Christ, Christianity, and even Pastors. God wants you to simply believe and to do so today! Please, you do not want to miss out. He’s waiting with arms wide open. Let him teach you and mold you, no matter how old you are. He wants YOU; and that is the breaking news of the gospel plain and simple!
BE BLESSED,
Kylie

Pray then slay...

It is October! I am so excited because every October for the past few years God has done something major in my life. I am reminded to pray like never before because I know the enemy does not want me to receive certain blessings. Just because you position yourself under Christ doesn’t mean you will be free from stress and worry. It does mean however, you will be covered through the storm. Do you think each football team spent the last week sitting on their behinds with no practice? No! They have prepared and got ready to execute the game plan they have practiced. And like our favorite teams, we should do the same.

Where is God leading you these last three months of 2017? Do you feel as if the enemy is right behind you? I encourage you to pray like never before and begin to walk in faith. You cannot do this alone. You will face trails of many, but God will be with you. Study his word differently, sing praises to him, and pray. Love each other and do something that will benefit your neighbor. Wherever you are called, know it will take pray and faith. Do not let your heart be troubled though (John 14:1); Christ is with you!

I love you and I pray you have a blessed week. Send all questions, comments, concerns to kyliestores@yahoo.com. Start this October right!

Get Ready...

9/17/2017

Last week I was getting ready for an event in Dallas. I picked out my outfit but like a typical lady, I changed about four times. I had clothes everywhere. I also had shoes and purses both upstairs and downstairs because I simply could not get my outfit right. I was running late but I couldn't leave because the house was a mess. If I was at my apartment it would have been okay, however I was at my dads and let me tell you he does NOT play. He likes his house tidy and super clean so I had to make sure everything was in place before I left. My very words were "I have to have the house ready because I don't know when my Father will return." WOAH. What revelation.

Matthew 24:44 says

"So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."

This spoke volumes for me because the same applies for the return of Christ. I (we) must have our hearts, minds, families, souls ready because we do not know when Christ will return. We can't be all over the place, and we can't be a dirty mess. We must trust the blood of Jesus now so that when he returns, we are covered. We cant save ourselves, but we can work out our salvation by believing Christ came, died, and rose for our eternal salvation. We can be ready by being obedient to his word and trusting that what we cant do he can help us through. I don't know about you, but I'm getting ready!

I love y'all and I pray you have a blessed week. Keep God 1st no matter what comes your way. Any questions, comments, concerns email me at kyliestores@yahoo.com.

There are four quarters for a reason pt2.

9/10/2017

About two years ago, I wrote a blog titled "There's 4 quarters for a reason." In honor of football season, I decided to do a part 2. You see, September is special because it marks the beginning of the end of the year. There are only four months left in 2017, which should encourage you to give it your all. What will you do?

God has given me time in  the past two weeks to reflect, pray, and relax, and I believe its for the very purpose to be great in the next four months. I wrote out five goals I want to complete before the end of 2017, and I encourage you to do the same thing. God has given us so many talents, spiritual gifts, and dreams he wants us to fulfill. Ask yourself: "Am I holding up my end of the bargain?"  This week I encourage you to start ONE NEW GOAL. Ill start.

One of my new goals is to witness like never before so I want to ask, if you do not have a relationship with Christ...email me. If you are not sure if you are saved right now...email me. If you are not 100% sure you will be in heaven when you depart this earth...email me. My duty is to do this and do this for real.

I love you all and I pray you have a blessed week. Email me at kyliestores@yahoo.com for all questions, comments, or concerns. I pray God blows your mind this week.

Love,
Kylie

Enough is Enough..

“I never asked you, how did you feel!” Those were words my hair dresser said to me a few years back concerning things that were going on in my life. I wish I had her ask me those questions last week because boy would I have a lot to tell her. The devil was super busy in my ear about who I was. I was trying to live up to things that I was already blessed beyond. I was hurt because I did not feel worthy. I had a quick moment where I felt cursed and down, and I was simply tired! You know those days and weeks where you are just blah! Well I suggest you pray that spirit off you and meditate on Psalm 139:14 (NIV):

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

It doesn’t matter how you feel or felt, I’m here you tell you that you are enough! You are fearfully and wonderfully made. I don’t have a story or analogy to give, I just want to encourage you to sit in the fact that you are enough. You cannot be anyone else or who other people wish you were. You cannot help how you were raised or your background. You can’t change the way you talk or dress, you just have to know you are enough! No matter what anyone says, you are enough. This week just sit in Psalm 139:14 and write 1000 times I AM ENOUGH!

I love you and I pray you have a blessed week. Send any questions, comments, concerns to kyliestores@yahoo.com. Pray for me!

The real fight...

8/27/2017

So, we all tuned into the fight last night. How fun was it to see such an action-packed event. There were times when I felt myself ducking and stepping back as if I was in the ring. It was a really good time. It made me think about this past week and a few things I myself was fighting for.

There were at least three situations where I was in need, and I did not know what to do. I was so close to complaining and being upset, and all of a sudden, the Lord came through. My favorite verse Exodus 14:14 rang so loud yet so quiet; “The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still”. You see, I didn’t have to say a word. God already knew. He knew what I needed and he fought on my behalf to have it. It did not work because of my effort, but God simply opened the door for me to walk right through. I didn’t have to do much except pray, believe, and BE STILL! If you are in the fight of your life I encourage you to hang in there, and let the Lord fight your battles. Floyd may be undefeated in the ring, but God is undefeated for life!

I love you all and I pray you have a blessed week. Send all inquiries to kyliestores@yahoo.com Someone recently asked how could they sew a seed so if you feel led to, send your donation to Paypal.me/GodsetmeUp.
