It is October! I am so excited because every October for the past few years God has done something major in my life. I am reminded to pray like never before because I know the enemy does not want me to receive certain blessings. Just because you position yourself under Christ doesn’t mean you will be free from stress and worry. It does mean however, you will be covered through the storm. Do you think each football team spent the last week sitting on their behinds with no practice? No! They have prepared and got ready to execute the game plan they have practiced. And like our favorite teams, we should do the same.
Where is God leading you these last three months of 2017? Do you feel as if the enemy is right behind you? I encourage you to pray like never before and begin to walk in faith. You cannot do this alone. You will face trails of many, but God will be with you. Study his word differently, sing praises to him, and pray. Love each other and do something that will benefit your neighbor. Wherever you are called, know it will take pray and faith. Do not let your heart be troubled though (John 14:1); Christ is with you!
