When it doesn't seem right

Today I was driving using my GPS (I always have GPS stories), and the lady said to turn left on WEST Campbell road. It said I had approached the right street and it was safe to turn, however, the sign in front of me read EAST Campbell road. Was I supposed to listen to a trusted voice and follow the path I was told even if it didn’t look right, or was I supposed to keep driving and figure it out on my own? You know where I’m going with this.

In life, we have major decisions to make. Often times we hear the voice of God telling us to do something, but the situation does look right to us. We think maybe the voice (God) got it wrong, or maybe there is somewhere else we should be going. The fact is, the voice knows exactly what we need, and we must trust and follow. Had I taken a different route, I would have lost my way. Yes, I would have made it home eventually, but the way would have taken longer and I would have wasted unnecessary time. I encourage you this week to follow that voice in you that is guiding you on the path you know you should take. God will never lead you wrong!

Jesus loves you and wants a relationship with you. Give him your all! I pray you have a blessed week. Send all questions, comments, concerns to kyliestores@yahoo.com.

Remember..

First, I want to say Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers!! It is such a blessing to have many strong male figures in the lives of us young people; especially women. I am so thankful to God for my Father! I hope you all have a wonderful day. Now to this week’s blog..

I was going through a few minor things this week, and I felt like I did not know where to turn. Between good conversations/prayer with friends and taking a deep breath, I was able to get back on track. One of the things I realized though was, God had given me the tools to handle this particular situation way back on April 4th (my birthday). You see, God gives me a bible verse to get me through the year, and my birthday year, and this birthday he gave me Isaiah 43:18-19. It reads:

18 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland

The very thing that was bothering me, was the very thing God told me to FORGET almost three months ago. Have you been there? Does God need to remind you of somethings he already handled? Are you crying over mild God already cleaned up? How is it we beg God to speak to us, but don’t use what was spoken to break free? It
doesn’t make sense, but the hope is, is that it stops..TODAY!

I encourage you this week to remember what God told you even if it was something a long time ago! Don’t get overwhelmed, just stay calm and remember. God is for you, not against you and I’m sure he has given you the tools to make it out this very situation. Have the faith, relax, and remember.

I love you dearly and I pray all the Fathers have a wonderful day! For prayer requests or concerns send me an email to kyliestores@yahoo.com Jesus loves you dearly!

God has NOT FORGOT about YOU!

God has not forgot about you! First, I want to say HELLO!! I have not been blogging on a consistent basis in like..FOREVER! It’s a shame I know, but I honestly have been in a different space. I won’t make any promises, but I believe I am back for a while! I will keep this nice and simple. GOD HAS NOT FORGOT ABOUT YOU. I feel like the Holy Spirit placed that on my heart this evening, and I wanted to share.

I don’t know what you have been through and honestly, it does not matter. I don’t know the pain you are experiencing, but one thing I do know is the fact that the Lord is with you. I have been having a pretty good 2017, but just like you I go through those “why me” moments. I was watching the live stream of my church today, and my Pastor talked about being in the valley and in circumstances that are uncomfortable. He went on to say those moments do not last, and I agree. Not only do they pass us by, but God is with us in them! So, we need not to worry, because God has not forgot about YOU!

I encourage you this week to take the time to ponder on moments where you know for sure God was there, and know that if he did it before, he will surely do it again. He will be there for you even in quiet seasons. He has not forgot.

I love you all and I want to hear from you. How are you guys doing? What would you like me to blog more about? How is life? Don’t forget to send your prayer request to kyliestores@yahoo.com. And I have also been doing more speaking engagements so send all inquires to kyliestores@yahoo.com as well. I love you and cannot wait to hear from you!

God Bless,
Kylie

The Kingdom of Heaven is near..

Every time I have a dream there is major meaning behind it. Most of my dreams are spiritual, or they are concerning someone I know. If there isn’t anyone I know in the dream but it still has a message, I feel the need to tell it anyway because I know God did not simply have it for me. With that being said, last night I had a dream and I heard these words: “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” That phrase is actually a bible verse in Matthew 3:2 which reads:

Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
I love the amplified version because it breaks down repent. Many of us ask for forgiveness (and receive it), yet we go back to our old ways. This verse is suggesting that we turn from our old way of thinking, change our inner self, seek God and his will and live like we are saved! I love God and his word because he gives us detail so that when we have to answer to him, there will be no excuse.

So, what this all means you ask? Well plain and simple, I believe we are in a time where God WANTS you to choose him, and make it plain that you chose him!  If you are not saved it’s so simple: 1. Repent, 2. Ask for forgiveness, 3. Believe Jesus came to walk this earth, died for our sins, rose, and is coming back for us, 4. Accept the FREE gift of salvation! Is that too hard? I know you may have questions. I know it may seem hard. I know it may be difficult to believe it’s that easy, but when you allow Christ in your heart, it will all make sense. The message of salvation isn’t a bunch of rules, its faith! As long as you believe and live like you believe, you will be saved. And the best part about it is that Christ is withholding his return of the kingdom because he is waiting on YOU. 2 Peter 3:9 says:

The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

He’s literally taking time so you can finally make your choice. This week (as early as today), even if in the privacy of your home, forget about this world for one second, and accept God’s gift of salvation. Many people argue that Christians are wrong, but I pose the question... what if we are right? Have a blessed week.

Get Busy for the Lord!

HELLO EVERYONE!

So many of you have been writing me and asking when #HappySunday would be back. Well the time has come! I was in Nigeria for a month and I just come home. I am back into the swing of things now (I think), so I am ready to begin writing! Here we go!

Recently there have been a few things on my mind. Everyday life has its way of consuming our thoughts. I got out the house a few times this weekend after reading my word and praying to God, and just like that, I feel 100% better! I truly believe that was the result of being busy and getting things done. Many times we sit and think and let things manifest in our minds and hearts, and we drive ourselves crazy. I know this is not Gods will for my life, and it is not the will for yours either. I suggest that before March gets here, you get busy!

There are so many things we can get busy doing. Walking in our purpose, praying, working on our hobbies, learning, and most importantly serving! What do you think YOU should be doing? I know we have all written 2017 goals, and many of us may have given up on them already, but I'm here to tell you its not too late to start again! Get busy before you drive yourself crazy! Start something beautiful today. You have so much ahead of you and time is precious. Make the most out of every moment!

I love you all and I pray you have a good week! I am going to blog and I am going to begin a vlog as well! I am excited! If you have any topic suggestions email them to me asap. Send all prayer request, questions, or comments to godsetmeup.com. I pray you have a blessed week!

Love,
Kylie

Happy New Year...

Happy New Year!

I feel like I haven’t blogged in forever! I believe it was my time to regroup, gather my thoughts, and see which direction God is taking me in 2017. With that being said, I’m back weekly starting in MARCH! I would start now, however, I will be out of the country until then (pray for me). I am so excited for you all to see how God has used me this past year, and all the ways he has ordered me to help YOU. It is going to be great, and I cannot wait!

I know you are excited for 2017, and I encourage you to use the next two weeks to continue to work on those things you want to set in motion for the year. So many times, if we fail at our goals or resolutions for the first few days, we quit all together. We don’t take into account that we just came off three major holidays, new changes, and busy schedules. I give myself at least three weeks into the new year to set the tone, and then I take off. Give yourself some grace. Set your goals, and ask God to help you accomplish them in his time if it is in his will. I know in 2017 you will not only change yourself, but you will change lives, and I’m excited about that!

Send all suggestions for this blog and God Set Me Up Ministries to kyliestores@yahoo.com. I love you all and I am praying for YOU. Pray for me as well!

I have always wanted to have community prayer for various people, situations, concerns (the youth, men, women, mental health..ect). I think coming together for the sake of prayer will enable us to move forward as a community.

My plan is to begin in December 2016. Because I will be in Nigeria in Jan/Feb, I can continue for March, April, and half of May depending where my life will take me for work :)

I believe that each week will provide something unique and special for me to provide for the needs of others. If there are any suggestions
