First, I want to say Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers!! It is such a blessing to have many strong male figures in the lives of us young people; especially women. I am so thankful to God for my Father! I hope you all have a wonderful day. Now to this week’s blog..
I was going through a few minor things this week, and I felt like I did not know where to turn. Between good conversations/prayer with friends and taking a deep breath, I was able to get back on track. One of the things I realized though was, God had given me the tools to handle this particular situation way back on April 4th (my birthday). You see, God gives me a bible verse to get me through the year, and my birthday year, and this birthday he gave me Isaiah 43:18-19. It reads:
18 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland
The very thing that was bothering me, was the very thing God told me to FORGET almost three months ago. Have you been there? Does God need to remind you of somethings he already handled? Are you crying over mild God already cleaned up? How is it we beg God to speak to us, but don’t use what was spoken to break free? It
doesn’t make sense, but the hope is, is that it stops..TODAY!
I encourage you this week to remember what God told you even if it was something a long time ago! Don’t get overwhelmed, just stay calm and remember. God is for you, not against you and I’m sure he has given you the tools to make it out this very situation. Have the faith, relax, and remember.
I love you dearly and I pray all the Fathers have a wonderful day! For prayer requests or concerns send me an email to kyliestores@yahoo.com Jesus loves you dearly!
Love,
Kylie
