The Kingdom of Heaven is near..

Every time I have a dream there is major meaning behind it. Most of my dreams are spiritual, or they are concerning someone I know. If there isn’t anyone I know in the dream but it still has a message, I feel the need to tell it anyway because I know God did not simply have it for me. With that being said, last night I had a dream and I heard these words: “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” That phrase is actually a bible verse in Matthew 3:2 which reads:

Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
I love the amplified version because it breaks down repent. Many of us ask for forgiveness (and receive it), yet we go back to our old ways. This verse is suggesting that we turn from our old way of thinking, change our inner self, seek God and his will and live like we are saved! I love God and his word because he gives us detail so that when we have to answer to him, there will be no excuse.

So, what this all means you ask? Well plain and simple, I believe we are in a time where God WANTS you to choose him, and make it plain that you chose him!  If you are not saved it’s so simple: 1. Repent, 2. Ask for forgiveness, 3. Believe Jesus came to walk this earth, died for our sins, rose, and is coming back for us, 4. Accept the FREE gift of salvation! Is that too hard? I know you may have questions. I know it may seem hard. I know it may be difficult to believe it’s that easy, but when you allow Christ in your heart, it will all make sense. The message of salvation isn’t a bunch of rules, its faith! As long as you believe and live like you believe, you will be saved. And the best part about it is that Christ is withholding his return of the kingdom because he is waiting on YOU. 2 Peter 3:9 says:

The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

He’s literally taking time so you can finally make your choice. This week (as early as today), even if in the privacy of your home, forget about this world for one second, and accept God’s gift of salvation. Many people argue that Christians are wrong, but I pose the question... what if we are right? Have a blessed week.
